Chris Otto, P.E., CFM
Chris is a Director at KFW, and another proud Aggie alumni. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Soon after graduating, Chris started working for the City of San Antonio in the Storm Water Engineering Department where he spent 3 years before entering the private sector. Chris has spent his career focused on drainage and infrastructure for public and private Clients for a variety of projects.
In May 2015, Chris joined the KFW family bringing with him over 12 years of experience. He currently manages several specialized teams: a Hydrology & Hydraulics Team, a Public Infrastructure Team, and a GIS Team. Chris is also an active member of the Texas Floodplain Managers Association (TFMA).
Chris, his wife, and their two children are meant for the water. During the summer they enjoy spending the weekends on Medina Lake, though on a holiday weekend you are more likely to find him on Lake LBJ with the extended family. During the school year, Chris and his wife spend much of their time supporting the kids in various sports and school functions.
