KFW Wins the Aggie 100 Award for the 4th Year in a Row
KFW wins the Aggie 100 for the 4th year in a row, making us one of only 9 companies to receive the award over four consecutive years! Three San Antonio companies earned spots on the Aggie 100, honoring the fastest-growing businesses throughout the country that are owned or managed by graduates of Texas A&M University in College Station.
The top 100 companies were ranked by their compound annual revenue growth rate from 2012 to 2014. Executives were honored recently at a ceremony at The Zone Club at Kyle Field.
KFW Engineering ranked 23 with a growth rate of 72.07 percent, up from 25th place. George Weron is the founder and principal of the company. He graduated in 1997 with a degree in civil engineering.
KFW Surveying ranked 46th this year with a growth rate of 53.2 percent, up from 48th place. Blaine Lopez is the president, owner and founder. He graduated in 1996 with a degree with civil engineering.
Valcor Commercial Real Estate ranked 53rd on the Aggie 100 with a 49.73 percent growth rate, up from 55th place. Jonathan Collins is listed as partner, owner and founder of the company. He graduated in 2006 with a degree in finance.
In all, companies from nine states were honored at the event. The oldest company earning a spot on the list was founded in 1936.
The annual list is compiled by the Mays Business School's Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M University.
