Taylor was introduced to KFW through a staffing agency that spoke very highly of the company in February 2021. She was excited at the opportunity to work with what sounded like such a great opportunity. After starting in reception, Taylor quickly saw that KFW lived up to its reputation and hopes to stay, grow, & eventually join the marketing team.

What did you expect it to be like prior to working for an engineering firm and how does that compare now?

I honestly wasn’t really sure what to expect... I was mostly excited to have a job again after being laid off during the pandemic, haha, but I guess I was surprised to learn all that goes into civil engineering. All the different steps, people & their jobs, and parts that go into each project. I have learned a lot in the short time that I’ve been here and I’m always grateful to learn new things!

Do you have a favorite quote?

What would be your dream job?

My dream job would be to do something that marries two of my favorite interests- being creative and history so maybe a museum curator!

What's something you plan on doing in the next year that you've never done?

I really want to go to Hawaii and swim with sharks… hopefully delta variant takes a chill pill.

Would you rather meet your ancestors or descendants?

Given my interest in history, I think I would like to meet my ancestors.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time with her daughter, boyfriend, and friends. Whether it's hiking, biking, roller skating, reading, sewing, or drawing, Taylor likes to dabble in a handful of both active and artsy activities.
