Omar is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station. He grew up on the south side of San Antonio and graduated from Harlandale High School, after which he fervently sought to pursue his passion for education graduating from A&M with Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering.

We are excited to welcome Ed Belmares to the KFW team. Ed joins us as our newest Vice President to oversee all nontechnical operations. Before joining KFW, Ed was appointed Assistant City Manager. He is heavily involved in the community and shares KFW’s passion for outreach and involvement locally and nationwide. When not working, Ed values his time spent with his wife, Niki Belmares, and their three children, Stevie, Marisol, and Diego.
